My students' next project is to broadcast a video with the news. They can choose several interesting topics, create their own HEADLINES and introduce whatever they find interesting.

  • Teen Kids News. There are many programmes to watch and learn a lot of English from teenagers. Threfore, the level is easy to understand. Listening and practice makes perfect!

GRAMMAR TIPS: 
  • Present continous: "live" actions happening while speaking: Now,  students are walking down the streets to protest. Click here for more details
  • Past simple: Finished actions. The demonstration took place yesterday. Click here.
  • Past continous: Actions in progress in the past (like a photo from the past) The woman was crying when we heard a loud noise. Click here.
  • Present perfect. Recent actions. The demonstration has just finished. Click here. 
  • Predictions. WILL/WON'T (high possibilities). Might (low possibilities). I think it will rain tomorrow. Click here
CAVEATS AND OPTIONS:

  • Students can role play in front of the class introducing special reporters, weather forecast or whatever they like. Imagination rules!
