One of the essential parts in a PEvAU exam is the writing part in which students have to discuss on a topic. In this post, some of the topics that have already appeared in these exams together with some predictable ones will be listed. Finally, I will include some tips on the possible text formats.
First of all, let us focus on the possible formats, including links with ideas to improve our writing skills:
- TIPS:
- Study carefully the formats
- Learn a set of linking words, as seen in the section WRITING
- Use at least 3 paragraphs.
- INTRODUCTION: first paragraph
- Body: It can be any type. IT can be made up of two paragraphs itself
- Conclusion. HEre, you can give a conclusion, your opinion or an ending (depending on the format).
- When writing, don't forget to double check for spelling and grammar mistakes
The following presentation, includes both the formats and the topics.
Why not guessing some possible topics for this year? I strongly recommend reading the press in English to get some ideas and vocabulary related to possible topcis, but you can try the following to try and discuss (they can work in an oral activity too) or do some writing practice
